Chief Accountant

Wix's Finance team. We oversee all of the financial transactions that happen at Wix-almost every accounting function you can imagine. We're a group of fun-loving professionals who do finance in the Wix way, always taking the time to learn and have fun while we work.

We're looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to join our team in Kyiv.

You are:

An Accountant who is highly skilled in management and has an accounting experience including overseeing payroll and taxes, preferably in the high-tech sector. You have advanced knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, as well as tax law. You're experienced in creating financial statements, know general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process, and have excellent accounting software user & administration skills.

You have knowledge 1C and financial tools such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and databases. Oracle expertise will be a big plus. You can work in a team in a multi-tasking, dynamic environment, have excellent communication and networking skills, are very organized, and have at least an upper-intermediate level of English.

As a Chief Accountant, you will:

• ·       Build, manage, and oversee the accounting team

  ·       Maintain compliance with all local regulations

  ·       Oversee the processing of all company taxes

  ·       Maintain highly organized accounting records

  ·       Supervise the preparation of financial statements and other reports

  ·       Manage the deployment and maintenance of new accounting-related procedures and controls

  ·       Ensure that all necessary documents are requested, collected, and compiled

  ·       Detect and address potential compliance issues proactively

  ·       Maintain communication with the tax office and 3rd parties

  ·       Coordinate the preparation of external audit materials

  ·       Implement new financial systems and develop procedures to improve existing systems and tools.

  ·       Participate in the development and implementation of the company policies

  ·       Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals

  ·       Report directly to the finance manager
