Lead 2D Artist, Art Director

We are looking for an experienced Lead 2D Artist / Art Director with high professional skills and proactive life attitude, interested in work with designing, conceptualizing and continuously improving quality and gaming experience of the NetEnt games.

Key skills:

• Knowledge of graphics software (Adobe Creative Suite)
• Excellent drawing skills and graphical design, a keen eye for design and experience in animation and UI design
• Basic art knowledge (composition, color, light, materials, etc.)
• Proficiency in basic graphic design software (Photoshop + Wacom)
• Art of composition and drawing techniques Interest in advanced trends in digital art
• Skill to adequately estimate art tasks during the planning process and evaluate the whole scope of the art task of the project
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good English Language knowledge (at least Upper Intermediate)

Bonus skills:

• 3D modeling/sculpting and animation (any 3D software)
• 2D animation (Spine)
• Special effects (After Effects or other software)

Your key tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Game and game related contents visual appearance
• Leading the creative process of the graphical design
• Create art materials for the games together with artists
• Documentation of art tasks during development project
• Collaboration with other competencies during development process
• Set visual standards for game art & animations
• Discuss game design and art with Product Owner (design meetings & correspondence)
• Improve processes and best practices
