Mining Analytics Engineer

Mine Tech Services (MTS) is a rapidly growing UK based mining consultancy. Founded in 2014, our mission is to help mines optimise their operations through the use of technology and data. With projects across the Americas, Europe, Africa and CIS, we have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality solutions that bring significant results for our clients. Right now, there is a significant acceleration in the need for mining operations to digitise. In parallel the growing need for decarbonisation and the subsequent boom in demand for EV materials is opening up new and innovative methodologies. Consequently MTS is well positioned for significant growth over the coming years.

We are looking for a motivated, self-starter to join our growing team. 

• Mine Site Studies: Assist with on-site analysis to identify and quantify an operation’s unique challenges, and to provide recommendations on how they can be overcome.

• Implementation of Mining Technology: Assist mines in measuring, managing and addressing these challenges (ranging from software and solution deployments through to change management and mentoring sessions). 

• Effective Data Visualisations: Develop and deploy appropriate and robust data visualisations to enable a site to manage specific challenges on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications: 

We are looking for a graduate or recent graduate with a mining-related or computer science-related degree containing some aspects of the following areas:

• Fluent or Advanced Level of English 

• Mining Engineering

• Mining Operational Research/Analytics

• Computer Science/Information Technology/Programming

• Science, Technology or Engineering
