СТВОРЕННЯ ТРЕНІНГУ ПРО CONFLICT-SENSITIVE FACILITATION

Founded in 2007 in France, Libraries Without Borders / Bibliotheques Sans Frontieres (LWB/BSF) is today one of the leading NGOs working in knowledge and culture-based development in the world and supporting libraries in developing countries. We believe that access to information and the dissemination of cultures are two key – yet under-invested – components of human and economic development, and the enforcement of human rights.

Implementing programs and developing partnerships in over 20 countries today, BSF/LWB supports local initiatives of libraries creation to promote education, access to information and culture and the conservation of cultural heritage. Through creating and reinforcing libraries, training librarians, donating books when relevant, supporting the local publishing industry, developing library networks and creating innovative programs for the promotion of access to education and information, LWB/BSF actively promotes access to knowledge throughout the world.

The project

The Russian offensive in Ukraine that began in February 24th has led to massive population displacements within the country and beyond its borders. It has also led to destruction of civilian infrastructure, including private accommodations, schools and other education-related establishments, culture-related establishments. As a result, access to education, culture, information, protection and psychosocial support appears to be a priority alongside primary needs.

Since March 10th, Bibliotheques Sans Frontieres network in Europe - BSF France, BSF Belgium, BSF Italy and BSF Switzerland - has been mobilizing to deploy emergency, reception and integration solutions for Ukrainian refugees in countries bordering Ukraine.

As part of this response, since March BSF/LWB have set up Ideas Box in Poland and Moldova. 

Since September, BSF/LWB has extended its response to Ukraine itself, with 5 Ideas Box currently located in Lviv (1), Lviv oblast (1), Vinnytsia (1), Bucha (1), and Dnipro (1) and continues developing activities and adapting activities in the country, including towards the East and the South.

BSF/LWB in Ukraine is now looking to recruit a сonsultant for the creation of training material on the issue of conflict-sensitive education/mediation/facilitation. 

OBJECTIVES OF THE CONSULTANCY                                                                                

В межах проектів в Україні, Бібліотеки Без Кордонів (ББК) організовує навчання для організацій-партнерів про особливості фасилітації в сфері освіти в умовах війни. Консультант підготує цифровий матеріал для самостійного навчання, а також інструкції і матеріал для проведення тренінгу членами команди ББК в Україні. Він також проведе тренінг для членів команди ББК в Україні, у форматі тренінгу тренерів.

Мета тренінгу:

• підтримки партнерів у фасилітації заходів неформальної освіти та дозвілля в умовах війни
• навчання партнерів, як діяти в умовах конфліктів серед аудиторії, в тому числі, у деокупованих громадах, і для фасилітаторів, які працюють з ВПО
• надання партнерам інструментів для того, щоб працювати з відвідувачами над соціальною згуртованістю
• інші релевантні напрями, визначені разом з командою ББК

Створення тренінгу передбачатиме попередню оцінку потреб організацій-партнерів у формі, яку тренер вважатиме ефективною та створення програми навчання на її основі.

DELIVERABLES                                                                                                               

• Цифровий матеріал для самостійного навчання, бажано у форматі MOODLE (максимум 4 години загалом)
• Інструкції і матеріал для проведення тренінгу, у електронному і паперовому видах
• Проведення тренінгу тренерів (1)
• Термін : 21 квітня 2023

METHODOLOGY                                                                                                               

Консультант буде працювати дистанційно, але матиме регулярні зв’язки з командою ББК в Україні.

Тренінг для членів ББК в Україні попередньо має мати місця у Львові.
