Загальна інформація про вакансію: Співробітник відповідає за виконання завдань з розмінування, демаркації та інших завдань команди.

 Основні обов`язки

• здійснює розмінування, позначення території та інші технічні роботи у відповідності до поставлених завдань та вимог cтандартних операційних процедур;
• слідкує за тим, що усе видане обладнання підтримувалося в належному стані та використовувалося у відповідності до поставлених завдань;
• негайно фіксує будь-які помилки або занепокоєння та повідомляє про них своєму керівнику або старшому групи;
• виконує завдання з контролю якості.

• Здатність і бажання подорожувати.
• Хороша фізична підготовка.
• Вміння виконувати інструкції.
• Вміння працювати в команді.
• Бажано знання іноземних мов.

MAG Ukraine 

Position Title: Deminer

Duty Station: Mykolaiv

Type of Appointment: 1 year 

Salary: 36,900 UAH per month gross 

Overall Purpose of the Job

The Deminer is responsible for carrying out demining, BAC, demarcation and miscellaneous team tasks in accordance with and adhering to MAG Ukraine SOP’s, drills and procedures.

Reporting structure

The line manager of the Deminer is the Mine Action Team Leader or Deputy Team Leader when detached on smaller tasks.

Detailed Responsibilities

The Deminer is responsible for and must ensure that:

• He/She understands and adheres to SOP’s and drills and procedures.
• He/She is correctly briefed and understands his responsibilities and duties.
• He/She carries out his duties as directed by the MAT/MTT Team Leaders.
• He/She is to carry out Quality Assurance checks as required by SOPs.
• He/She has the right equipment and stores to carry out his operational duties.
• He/She correctly uses and maintains all equipment in his charge in compliance with MAG Ukraine SOP’s.
• Any deficiencies of, or faults or problems with equipment in his/her charge, should be reported to the Team Leader as soon as possible.
• He/She wears all protective clothing required for the task in the correct manner in compliance with SOP’s.
• That his/her actions do not prejudice the safety, security or professional standing of MAG and its employees (as per the MAG contract of employment).
• He/She works as part of a team and helps to foster team spirit.
• He/She is able to travel and remain in the field when necessary.
• He/She carries out any other operational tasks as directed to meet operational requirements.
• He/She should be able to drive MAG owned cars for operations purposes.

General Responsibilities

• He/She is expected to maintain a professional conduct in line with MAG’s core values since his/her actions represent MAG.
• Contribute to other fundraising initiatives where appropriate.
• Participate in meetings where relevant. 
• Understand and uphold the standards outlined in MAG’s Safeguarding Framework, acting with due care and attention to safeguard the wellbeing of anyone that comes into contact with MAG’s work and reporting concerns if they do arise.  
• Undertake and apply learning from appropriate training and development programmes.
• Undertake any other duties as may be required.
• Person selection criteria
• An understanding of NGOs and a commitment to humanitarian work.
• To participate and achieve the necessary results in the Basic Demining Course (BDC).
• Preferably should hold a valid driving license.
