Position Overview
 

(Part-time job in Warsaw, Poland; 24 hours per week)

Autodesk is seeking a skilled Data Operations Specialist to be part of our Data Engineering team within Global License Compliance Analytics. We are strong partner for GLC Business Analytics, GLC Technical Specialists as well as GLC Sales and collaborate closely with other Autodesk Data teams. Our mission is to empower our partners to make data informed decisions with transformed and easy-to-use datasets and tools. Our team, as well as our partner teams in GLC Analytics, supports GLC Sales in addressing non-compliant usage of Autodesk’s software. Our team has a lot of visibility, and the impact of our work can directly be related to business results. 

In this role, your primary focus will be executing and supporting data transformation workflows, providing data enrichment that is reliable and efficient. You also enable other GLC teams by supplying easy-to-use datasets, tools and training. The position reports to the Manager Data Engineering.  

As an ideal candidate, you have a deep understanding of data transformation and analytics, as well as a background in working with business functions like sales or marketing intelligence. You need to be able to understand business requirements and how data is enabling sales organizations. You are passionate data enabler who enjoys supporting others and providing trainings. 

Main Responsibilities 

• Execute, support, and evolve data transformation workflows that transform data from heterogenous data sources into business-ready information. 
• Collaborate with GLC Data Engineer as well as with Autodesk data teams to ensure data quality when maintaining data operations 
• Work with subject matter experts to investigate, explain and resolve questions around our data 
• Provide regular reports on data quality and maintain proper documentation 
• Explore new and existing datasets to leverage them for GLC purposes 
• Enable data informed decisions by training and supporting GLC Analytics and GLC Sales teams 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Readiness to work part-time (24 hours a week)
• Advanced experience with SQL 
• Experience with data transformation tools like Alteryx 
• Experience with cloud-based data warehouse services like Snowflake 
• Understanding of programming languages like Python 
• Experience with presenting information and visualizations in Excel and ideally PowerBI is a plus 
• Solid understanding of business processes in sales or marketing, preferably at an international software vendor or high-tech company 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to different management levels across the company 
• Proactive working style with an ability to find creative solutions to data-oriented problems 
• Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is a must, additional language skills a plus
