Looking for someone with 2-3 years of experience in sales of web and app projects from outbound sourcing to inbound communication to design/dev team handoff and timeline creation. If you have worked in a digital agency for some years and sourced new work + tended to incoming requests simultaneously for multiple web design projects and other digital products like apps (some large contracts and sometimes stressful and exciting!) - we'd love to hear from you!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for reaching the sales targets via a series of sales channels and strategies. planning, coordinating and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Responsibilities
• Omni-Channel: Create an omnichannel sales presence for funnels of new projects
• Outbound: Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence (job boards outreach; industry verticals targeted penetration; cold & warm email drip campaigns; specific-client targeted sales)
• Inbound: Timely setup sales calls with potential customer inquiries and walk them through the agency process, and services, and learn of the SOW, budget, etc.
• Prepare Custom & Detailed Sales Proposals
• Negotiate project timeline, budget, SOW
• Brief PMs, CDs, other designers, and devs on the client needs
• Monitor project deliverables when appropriate + upsell additional scope; process change orders
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
• Setup followups schedule and methodology
• Update Sales Reports/CRM: Present sales and revenue reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
• Daily Reporting and Status
• Partnerships: Identifying potential dev/design/advertising agency partners for ongoing project flow
• Expansion: Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
• Communicate with the Marketing team for any sales marketing asset needs - one-pagers, decks, ad banners, SMM, etc.
Qualifications
• BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
• Strong business acumen in sales
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
• Project management skills a plus
• Design knowledge/experience a plus
• Experience in sales of award-winning websites a BIG plus
