Senior Front-end Developer

We're in search of talented and experienced Senior Frontend Developers, independent thinkers, willing to come up with great ideas, commitment and quality work.

The team in Romania is remote-first, so you can work fully remote, but we can also offer a physical workplace in Bucharest, if you need or prefer a traditional office space that is not at home.

What we are looking for in our new Frontend Developers:

• Experience with React, Redux, Jest, Axios, Material UI
• Good knowledge of Javascript, HTML, CSS
• Curiosity and initiative. You love exploring and you seek new opportunities and ideas —you don’t just wait to be told what to do.
• Drive and organization. You’re energetic, hard-working, and persistent, aiming for excellence in what you do. You can be entrusted with responsibilities big and small.
• Passion and humility. You have a proven passion for writing software and you’re also down to earth, willing to give, ask for and listen to feedback.
• Communication and English. You keep improving your communication skills, and you are fluent in English.

What you’ll do:

• Design and build complex and innovative web applications for end customersand insurance related businesses
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Help maintain code quality, organization and automation

Interview Process:

At Ledgertech, we value the time and energy you devote to the hiring process, this is why we are trying to make the process as fast and smooth as possible. We won’t ask you any brain teasers or trick questions.

There are 4 steps of the interview process:

1. Screening. Please give us one week after you apply, so we can screen the applications.
2. If you successfully pass through our screening process, we will write back to you and schedule a 60 to 90-minute interview. The interview has two parts:

• Technical Interview - You'll meet two developers from our team. We want to understand the technical level and go through a whiteboard coding session. We'll also ask you questions about your experience.
• Team Interview - You'll meet two of our team members to chat about some of the non-technical parts of being a software developer at Ledgertech. These include your experience in team work, delivery, communication. You have the opportunity to ask them what it is like to be part of the Ledgertech team.

3. If your interview is successful, you’ll have a 30-minute conversation with our Managing Director.

4. Written offer.
