We're looking for an awesome People Operations Specialist to join our HR team and support the process of onboarding, orientation, and employee experience at our Odessa HQ.

 

This role is well suited for someone who is passionate about the new-hire employee experience. We're looking for someone who will help instill a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment for all of our employees. The best candidates will have exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, be highly detail-oriented, and able to assist others with grace and patience. We're looking for a natural administrator who will provide ongoing HR and administrative support for all Readdlers. You will literally be our first-ever People Operations Specialist, presenting a fantastic opportunity to help build our R team as a highly-functioning, global team. We are growing like crazy at Readdle, and the People Operations Role matters more than ever to Readdle and our ability to attract and maximize impact of stellar talent. You and the rest of People team will be responsible for ensuring that Readdlers are productive and happy.

 

What you'll do:

  • Onboarding - Lead new employee onboarding process: responsible for inputting new hires into HR system, and processing all compliance documentation and employment verifications with 100% accuracy.
  • HR administration tasks - Provide employee entry support in the HRIS system, and documentation support, handle employee information with thought, sensitivity, and care.
  • Orientation - Initiate new hire orientations: coordinate scheduling for new employees, presenters, and managers of new hires, present and teach new hires about people programs and policies, lead office tours, act as a liaison for all new hires.
  • Engagement - Monitor new hire feedback to ensure orientations remain meaningful and engaging. Maintain updated presentations/ resources to ensure that information is accurate and relevant.
  • Company benefits - Maintain and coordinate our company benefit programs. Be the key contact for all initial requests for help to the People Team and manage the escalation process with Centers of Excellence (Compensation, Benefits, Policies etc).
  • Event Support - Building a great company culture at Readdle - You will help manage employee engagement initiatives, such as team and company outings, the annual company retreat and holiday events. Employees will look to you to help shape the culture at Readdle. You will also assist and provide helpful resources to the people in external events participation.
  • Special Projects - Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned (including opportunities with learning & development, performance review process, employee engagement surveys, diversity & inclusion, and more).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 1 to 2+ years of experience in People team role, HR or Recruiting.
  • Familiar with Google suite of office products.
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral skills.
  • Organized with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain employee confidentiality.
  • Ability to maintain multiple schedules and projects simultaneously.
