E-commerce store manager is responsible for managing the entire e-commerce presence of Samsung Electronics Ukraine Company. He/She manages the assortment, selects products for sale and takes over the management of returns.

In day-to-day work, E-commerce store manager mainly deals with the planning and further development of the shop appearance and acts as an interface between various specialist departments. These include agencies for web design, the marketing and sales departments within the company, development, IT and Creative, Media, PR agencies, management support.

In addition, e-commerce manager is entrusted with the administration of incoming payments and returns and analyze the sales statistics in order to optimize the product range and to be able to place targeted advertising.

Ultimately, the main goal of an e-commerce manager is to improve conversion rates, i.e. the rate of purchases resulting from the e-shop visitors.

Key tasks of an e-Store Manager

  • Define e-commerce store objectives in line with the company’s goals
  • Review sales data and stock levels. PSI (purchase-sales-inventory) planning
  • Optimization of sales and increase conversion rates
  • Analyze internal data and web analytics
  • Develop product and pricing strategies for the e-commerce store
  • Supply chain management
  • Returns management
  • Plan promotional campaigns such as contests or giveaways
  • Plan advertising campaigns, including deciding on media channels
  • Develop SEO and SEM strategies
  • Evaluate website design and discuss plans to improve
  • Initiate market research studies
  • Provide marketing or technical advice to clients
  • Direct the hiring of marketing staff and oversee their daily activities
  • Lead and manage a team of e-store

Requirements to SEUC e-commerce store manager

  • Over 5 years’ experience in e-commerce management positions
  • Business and e-commerce management know-how
  • Knowledge and proven records of strategies for increasing e-sales
  • PSI planning skills
  • Good knowledge of SEO and SEM
  • Digital Advertising: Google Ads, Facebook Ads (performance marketing)
  • Market research and analytical skills
  • Expertise in the electronics industry and products
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Developing and designing online and email marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of English - Upper-Intermediate and higher
