Overview
Drive the automotive macro trends of electrification, safety automation and connectivity to the next generation of solutions. With so many new features added almost every day, we need experts in managing our customers’ requirements. As part of our Systems teams linking the customers and Tech teams, you’ll help us engineer, design and produce an entirely new and smarter architecture for tomorrow’s cars.
As a System Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the definition of the functionality and operating principles of the Electronic Control Unit that hosts ADAS functions. You will provide technical and business leadership for the development of the Domain Controller and ensure it fulfils the functionality that you defined.
To us nothing is impossible, you will have autonomy to explore your curiosity, having fun and celebrating success along the way. This will be close collaboration with software, hardware, testing & validation teams, as well as with our customers (automotive OEMs).
Your Role:
Establishing and maintaining a business relationship with the customer to define the expected product functionality through elicitation, analysis, refinement and review of customer product requirements
Identification and delivery of technical solutions to provide the functionality expected by the customer
Leadership and support for the definition of the product’s functionalities and parameters, product requirements, system boundaries and the cascade of requirements to the engineering design teams
Coordinating the design & development work to deliver a high-quality product
Working closely with the customer to facilitate continuous feedback and transparency
Your Background:
University degree in Engineering (e.g. electronics, mechatronics), Computer Science or related
Strong understanding of electronic control systems (ECUs, microcontrollers, embedded systems)
Fluency in English (both written and spoken) & good interpersonal skills
Preferably broad experience in automotive engineering (ASPICE, automotive control systems and ECUs, systems engineering, functional safety, system architecture modelling, Agile/Lean methodologies etc.)
