Security Systems Engineer

Required skills:

- 2+ years of experience as a Security Systems Engineer dealing with security of network and information technology;

- Experience in providing information security for corporate network;

- General knowledge of IT security audit techniques;

- Knowledge of information security tools;

- Knowledge of ELK stack, GrayLog;

- Knowledge of Windows and Linux architecture;

- Active directory, policy, DCs, etc.;

- An ardent desire to learn continually and grow professionally;

- English: Intermediate and higher;

Will be a plus:

- Certification of cybersecurity

- CompTIA Security+ - aimed at specialists with more than two years' experience in information or cyber security

- Experience with OSSIM or similar tools

- Virtual Machines configuration and usage (Xen, VMWare, Hyper-V)

- Popular scripting languages to create automation of work processes, monitoring, trending, alerting techniques

• Ideally a working knowledge of Python, Bash, Powershell

You will be responsible for:

- Perform day-to-day operations of security solutions and the identification, investigation, and resolution of security events detected by those systems.

- Installation and successfully management of security products and technologies;

- Tracks the status of security exposures and works with other teams and other stakeholders to remediate them;

- Processing incoming information, reports, and messages;

- Analyze and respond to previously undisclosed software and hardware vulnerabilities;

- Participate in the creation of policies, standards, and procedures where appropriate;

- Maintain knowledge by conducting research on emerging products, services, and security standards.
