It security officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished professional to serve as the Bank's IT Security Officer.The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of IT security, creating and implementing corporate IT security practices and ensuring that employees follow those procedures. This position consists of securing internal networks, organising of internal Security contests, collaboration with developers, system administrators and DBA, establishing policies for lost laptops and much more. The ITSO role will also perform project management for security related initiatives, participate in the incident management and change management processes.

General Responsibilities:

• Managing and coordinating the day-to-day IT Security activities of the Bank and the protection of IT facilities, equipment, personnel and data-processing facilities.
• Defining, maintaining and proposing changes to the Bank's IT Security Policy and procedures for agreement by the IT Security Compliance Officer and the approval of the IT Steering Committee.
• Executing technical risk assessments, discuss and propose solutions for identified risks.
• Participating in the Information Classification process.
• Providing advice to business managers and technical personnel on IT Security issues.
• Informing the IT Steering Committee of any important Security Incidents as and when they occur.
• Providing the IT Steering Committee with a regularly scheduled report on the state of IT Security.
• Ensuring that IT Security Administrators know the contents of the IT Security Policy and apply them appropriately to their areas of responsibility.
• Ensuring that all employees of the Bank have access to and knowledge of the contents of the IT Security Policy through appropriate distribution.
• Providing IT Security awareness training, as appropriate, to the Bank's employees.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience working in IT
• 4+ years' experience working within an information or technology security role
• Higher education
• Collaboration, communication, and organisational skills
• Fluency in both English and Russian.
