Trainee Test Automation Engineer

 ELEKS Quality Assurance Office is looking for Trainee Test Automation Engineer in our Lviv Office

ABOUT CLIENT

Our customer is one of the largest financial institutions in the US. They have the set of projects that work on different technology and business goals and which are part of the one product suite. The product supports the customer's needs within Financial Services industry, mostly focused on Portfolio Management, Data Management, Investment Accounting, Performance Measurment Solutions

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct a simple range of programming tasks including analysis, coding, and debugging of complex program logic.
• Conduct test procedures by using testing, and debugging programs.
• Develop algorithms according to technical specifications or other requirements documentation.
• Use standard algorithms in the applicable cases.
• Write program code according to the defined application architecture.
• Structure and format source code, comment and mark up the code, as well as name variables, functions, classes, data structures, and files according to the company conventions and industry best practices.
• Track changes, compare source code in the defined version control system.
• Agree task deadlines with Senior Developer or Technical Leader.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of software testing techniques and methodlogies
• Good knowledge of OOP
• Knowledge of one of programming languages: Java/JS
• Familiarity with one of the following framework: TestNG/Junit for Java or Protractor/Jasmine/Mocha for JS
• Experience with Selenium Webdriver
• Knowledge of JSON, REST web services.
• Intermediate or higher level of English
