Junior Java Developer

ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for Junior Java Developer in our Lviv Location.

ABOUT PROJECT:

A large Belgian customer, who serves most of the airports in Europe. The system we currently develop provides hotel/food/ taxi vouchers if the flight is postponed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop solutions and algorithms according to technical specifications or other requirements documentation; use standard algorithms in the applicable cases
• New functionality design
• Estimating tasks
• Write the program code according to the defined application architecture
• Structure and format the source code, comment and mark up the code, as well as name variables, functions, classes, data structures, and files according to the company conventions and industry best practices
• Use version control systems to track code optimization progress, as well as to merge or split code entities. Commit changes according to version control rules
• Communication with customer

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 1 year of commercial experience with Java 8+
• Experience with Spring Boot
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with Git
• Understanding of Common concepts of web services development
• At least an Intermediate level of English
• Good communication skills

WOULD BE A PLUS:

• Experience with Linux servers maintenance
• Experience with Azure services
