Journalist/Editor

YouTube Channel is looking for an English speaking (proficient level) journalist/editor.

Job responsibilities:

• Writes original texts for video blogs production, covering situation in Ukraine in national and geopolitical context. Adapts content as necessary. Translates texts from Ukrainian into English. Oversees and controls the process of video blogs production. Manages YouTube-channel and its social media.
• Develops social media platforms from the scratch, follows the latest trends in social media storytelling and embraces them.
• Contributes viable, creative suggestions for media development.
• Generates ideas and executes them effectively and efficiently.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• University education in journalism or related field, or equivalent relevant training or experience.
• Good familiarity with political, economic, and social situations in Ukraine as well as with regional and international affairs.
• Comprehensive content creation skills.
• Expertise in social media management (Instagram, Twitter).
• High motivation.
• Ability to generate original ideas.
• Ability to coordinate, manage and develop the project.
• Multitasking and ability to prioritize with little supervision.
• Proactive and can-do person, able to build relationships with outside counterparts to promote the project.

Languages:

• English language — proficient level, mandatory.
