Senior Data Scientist & Team Leader for Mobile Applications
                                                                          Remote or Poznan

Business objective

Developing processes and tools necessary for decision-making in data-driven product development. Setting goals and managing a team of 2 people (Data Analyst + Data Engineer). Supporting the marketing & the product team with more detailed data analysis. These actions are to contribute to the increased app user retention and better allocation of marketing budget expenses, and should ultimately translate into an increased financial result of the company.

Responsibilities:

Operational

• managing a team of 2 people (Data Analyst + Data Engineer)
• ownership of the data loop in the company (from creation, through ETL, to consumption) including design and optimization of data processes
• creation and analysis of data reports (e.g. cohorts, churn, retention, KPI, MRR, CAC)
• data interpretation and drawing conclusions
• close cooperation with the marketing department in optimizing acquisition campaigns and reactivating users, support in choosing optimum promotion channels.
• cooperation with the product team and analysis of differential tests for new functionalities and their impact on user retention
• cooperation with the IT department on implementation guidelines
• making sure the collected data is correct and the documentation is up-to-date  in terms of analytics

 Tactical & strategic 

• sharing knowledge and cultivating data-driven approach in the company
• designing analytical solutions (tools, schemas) and application of the solutions to business
• Introduction of ML tools & processes into the company
• strategic cooperation with Board of Directors

You are the perfect candidate if (requirements):

• you have a minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics in a similar position
• you have worked for at least a year as an analyst in the mobile application environment
• you know Tableau, Google BigQuery, Firebase, Facebook Analytics, Google Analytics for Firebase, Appsflyer
• you can integrate various data sources, generate reports, create dashboards
• you can analyze a huge amount of data and draw accurate conclusions
• you understand database structures
• you have high self-organization skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• you have a proactive approach to your responsibilities
• you can and want to share knowledge and conclusions with other departments
• you are interested in Machine Learning and statistics
• you speak fluent English

It will also be a big advantage if:

• you have experience with the in-app subscription business model and understand its subtleties
• you have experience in calculating LTV
• you are keen on healthy lifestyle
