Certification manager

ASBIS is one of the leading distributors of Information and Communications Technology products and solutions in EMEA Emerging Markets. We are seeking a motivated individual for a full-time:

Certification manager

Main tasks:

• determining the list of required testing standards and certificates for any products in the portfolio;
• determination of the necessary product labeling;
• search of information sources. Search for consultants and certification experts
• processing of incoming requests and applications for confirmation of product conformity
• interaction with certification bodies in the EU, Ukraine, CIS, Middle East and China and testing laboratories. Search for new service providers;
• optimization of certification costs;
• maintaining a database of certificates; 
• consultation of company employees on all issues in the field of product certification;

Requirements:

• good understanding of testing requirements and procedures (electronics, wireless electronics – TR RED, UA TR 355); 
• knowledge of product marking & labeling;
• knowledge of legislation and legal norms in the field of certification of products for release into circulation on the territory of Ukraine / EAEU (CU) / EU;
• knowledge of certification procedures and of products;
• similar work experience from 1 year;
• intermediate/ upper intermediate in English;
• experience of interaction with government bodies;
• result orientation.

Knowledge of EU countries certification marks: CE Mark, UKCA Mark, GS Mark etc.

Understanding of EU Directives: 2014/53/EU RED, 2014/35/EU LVD, 2014/30/EU EMC, Ecodesign 2009/125/EC (ErP and variations to specific products), Energy label Directive 2010/30/EU, 2011/65/EC Directive (RoHS), Food Contact Directive (Regulation (EC) No 1935/2005), + German LFGB + French DGCCRF, WEEE DIRECTIVE 2012/19/EU, BATTERY DIRECTIVE 2006/66/EC, PACKAGING DIRECTIVE 94/62/EC.
