Responsibilities:

• You cooperate with our project leaders and product owners in order to manage our software requirements.
• You take part in the development of web applications, both in Backend and Frontend capacity.
• You take part in maintenance projects and suggest architectural improvements for our 50+ websites.
• You ensure high-quality code through the planning and execution of automated tests.
• You share knowledge with your team and support/mentor junior team members.
• You take over a great amount of ownership and have a chance to spearhead new projects.

Required skills:

1. You have great knowledge of software development and great understanding of how software components interact with each other.
2. You have very solid PHP and JavaScript skills, ideally having experience within the e-commerce industry.
3. You have experience with SQL databases and ORM frameworks such as Doctrine.
4. You have experience with JavaScript in single page applications, ideally built with ReactJS.
5. You are comfortable performing unit and integration tests.
6. You are used to working with PHP-MVC-Frameworks, ideally with Symfony.
7. Ideally, you have already gained some experience with ElasticSearch.
