Junior Logistics Manager

MSF Switzerland in Ukraine is currently looking for:

Junior Logistics Manager (Logistics Coordinator Assistant)

Main Duties:

1. Assist the Logistics Coordinator in order to ensure a proper logistic management in Coordination and provide support to logistic activities in the projects. Expected to travel to Mariupol and Mykolaiv according to the projects' needs and the Logistics Coordinator's instructions.
2. Planning and supervising the logistics tasks within the coordination office and guesthouses (repairs, equipment maintenance, stock management, cleanliness).
3. Support the Mission Supply Chain team in organizing the ordering and transport of goods to the different projects.
4. Organize and supervising the fleet of vehicles and drivers in the coordination base (driver's schedules, vehicles maintenance, vehicles registration and insurance, fuel consumption, etc.).
5. Responsible for troubleshooting and support on the use and maintenance of all IT equipment at coordination office. Responsible for managing the assets' inventory at coordination office.
6. Support the Logistics Coordinator in the planning and ensuring an appropriate emergency preparedness and response capacity (stocks, contacts, transport means, staff training). Participate in emergency activities or exploratory visits.
7. Support the Logistics Coordinator in the security management by regular monitoring of the local context and prompt sharing of relevant information.
8. Monthly reporting of logistics activities to Logistics Coordinator.

Requirements :

• Experience in a similar position will be considered an asset
• Fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, English (oral and written) is essential
• Essential, advanced skills in the IT area
• Ready for travel - 25% of the time
• Experience in an international organisation, NGO is an asset

Monthly gross salary (before taxation) is UAH 25 394.
