Currently we are looking for Power System engineers to join our efficient and friendly team in Kharkiv and Odessa.

You are a great fit for our vacancy if you have:

• Master’s degree as an electrical engineer or energy technology, specializing in electrical power systems and power system analysis
• 5+ years of experience from the energy industry
• Good professional level of English in writing and speaking
• Knowledge of PSSE, Power Factory and / or PSCAD is weighted

The core task:

The main task is analysis and design of electrical systems, often focused on wind turbines, with the aim of improving the solutions that already exist. We expect you to be able to lead the analysis of electrical system behavior, as well as understand the complexity of interaction between a power plant and the transmission network. There is a need for knowledge of simulation tools, setting up models and conducting studies. Familiarity with the design of electrical sub-stations, transformer design, switchgear and design of collector grids are all seen as an advantage.

Tasks:

• Power system stability studies in Power Factory / PSSE / PSCAD
• Test and simulation of power plant in MATLAB / Simulink
• Testing of new electrical components for wind turbine design
• Analysis and design of models for power plant performance
• Implementation of simulation models
• Administration, organization, and analysis of network connection studies
• Evaluation of grid connection regulations, system impact, and system approval
• Feedback and recommendations to project managers
