Chief Test Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION

One of our clients is an American healthcare company distributing pharmaceuticals and providing health information technology, medical supplies, and care management tools.

It is based in the United States and distributes healthcare systems, medical supplies, and pharmaceutical products. Additionally, provides extensive network infrastructure for the health care industry; also, it was an early adopter of technologies like bar-code scanning for distribution, pharmacy robotics, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build & implement a comprehensive test strategy that will allow to deliver a high-quality product
• Bridge the gap between client expectations & test team deliverables
• Efficiently combine automation, manual & (potentially) crowd testing
• Lead a test engineers' team
• Drive the testing process according to the test strategy
• Define the reporting metrics of the quality on a project and driving the reporting process
• Provide support and expertise on all test and quality assurance related subjects

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years' experience in QA automation
• 1+ year experience in Scrum processes
• Successful experience of managing large QA teams (50+ QA) on end-to-end projects that led to high product quality
• Ability to manage both automation & QA team
• Experience of building efficient test teams with both automation & manual QAs
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Expertise in WEB UI test automation
• Proficiency in Java
• Strong knowledge of Selenium
• Good understanding of Junit/TestNG
• Experience of working with Cucumber/JBehave
• Familiarity in Serenity/Allure (optional)
• Understanding of REST API test automation
• Experience in Git
• Ability & desire to own quality improvements on the project
• Strong client management skills. Understanding of business goals
• Ability to work on improvements in both evolutionary & revolutionary ways
• Flexible, open mindset
• Proactive and quick learner
• Excellent time management, planning, organization, and prioritization skills
• Ability to be a team player and to work in a distributed team
• Good communication skills
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B2+)
