Senior Java Developer

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Our customer is an American investment management firm that relies on timely delivery of precise macroeconomic measures in order to make investment decisions. It serves approximately 350 of the largest and most sophisticated global institutional clients including public and corporate pension funds, university endowments, charitable foundations, supranational agencies, sovereign wealth funds, and central banks. By having the deepest possible understanding of the global economy and financial markets and translating that understanding into great portfolios and strategic partnerships with institutional clients, they've built a distinct track record of success.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience in Java development
• Solid understanding of designing RESTful web services
• Proficiency in Spring Boot
• Experience in rational databases
• Proven experience in working with development tools and SCM: Gradle, Jenkins, Sonar, GitLab
• Strong understanding of ELK stack: Elastic search, Logstash, Kibana
• Experience in working with Amazon Web Services (AWS): S3, SQS
• Comprehensive knowledge of design patterns, good practices and Clean Code rules
• Strong communication skills
• Proactivity
• Ability to adjust a solution and suggest ideas to accomplish business goals
• Excellent time management, planning, organization and prioritization skills
• Intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B1+)
