Senior Oracle Software Engineer

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Our client is a leading provider of consumer, financial and property information, analytics and services to business and government. As the leading global property information, analytics and data-enabled solutions provider, its vision is to deliver unique property-level insights that power the global real estate economy.

The project we are working on for this client is the legacy mainframe middleware system for credit score reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Crafting resource-efficient DB queries for stats calculation on production database
• Database procedures and schema optimizations
• Development of product changes within either Java and C++ stream

REQUIREMENTS

• 7 + years of Oracle development experience
• 2+ years of experience in Linux/Unix
• 2+ years of C++ or Java development experience
• Financial Markets Data domain knowledge?
• Knowledge of Python would be a plus
• High attention to detail concerning data, testing and analysis
• Decent written, verbal, and presentation skills?
• Intermediate English level, both spoken and written (B1)
