Senior .Net Software Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Our client is a global company that provides information, software, and services. Its customers are legal, business, tax, accounting, finance, audit, risk, compliance, and healthcare professionals.

You will be working on building a market-leading solution to institutions and regulators in Financial Services (Global Risk & Compliance department) which automates the collection, verification, and certification of compliance data. In addition, the solution provides for the creation of custom reports and real-time auditing to automate compliance and reduce risks. The project is in the midst of a transition towards brand new technologies, approaches, and architecture. Target architecture consists of microservices powered by .NET Core, Angular (latest version), MS SQL Server, and other data storage technologies with migration to Azure already well underway.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years' experience in software development (C# and SQL) for a senior role
• Experience in .NET Core, .NET fundamental (version 4.5)
• Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET MVC Web API
• Excellent OO design skills and knowledge of design patterns
• Strong T-SQL and database development skills in Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience in working with Entity Framework or other ORMs
• Good knowledge of JavaScript/HTML/CSS
• Understanding of Scrum process
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure: SQL, Kubernetes, etc.
• Experience in working with dynamic SQL would be a plus
• Familiarity with JavaScript MV* frameworks, such as AngularJS would be a plus
• Experience in TDD would be a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of spoken English (B2+)
