The role:

• Support in the characterization of device performance and prepare a characterization report;
• Write and debug test programs for device characterization;
• Analyze test data, perform root cause analysis of device failures, and define solutions;
• Recommend improvements to devise structure based on characterization data;
• Develop new techniques to streamline the characterization process;
• Identify and resolve device performance issues promptly;
• Present test results in an accurate and clear manner;
• Assist development and manufacturing engineers in designing and developing new devices;
• Mentoring junior characterization engineers and lab technicians;

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's or higher in Computer engineering, Computer science, Electronic engineering, Applied math, Semiconductor physics (or related field);
• 3+ years of experience in engineering position;
• Good knowledge analog and digital electronic engineering fundamentals;
• Effectively wield the electronics tools: oscilloscopes, multimeters, generators, spectrum analyzers;
• Flexibility to work across multiple disciplines;
• Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, their architecture (clock, ports, bus etc.) and communication interfaces (I2C, UART, SPI, USB);
• PCB and schematic design experience in one of the following tools: Eagle, KiCAD, Altium;
• Software development skills in one of the following languages C, Python, MATLAB, LabView, R;
• FPGA design experience (Verilog/System Verilog/VHDL) would be a plus
• Able to work in a team;
