M&A analyst

Baltic Partners is an independent regional financial advisory firm focusing on capital raising transactions with private equity funds, cross-border corporate M&A and ECM transactions. We focus on serving clients in the following region: the Baltic States, Ukraine and CEE.

We are looking for M&A analysts to join Kiev office. The Analyst is expected to work on M&A projects along with senior professionals across multiple industries in Ukraine as well as Baltics and other countries.

The position will provide opportunity for significant professional development along with one of the most experienced M&A teams in Ukraine and the region. We are looking for highly motivated and ambitious team member, while we are offering competitive remuneration based on the achieved results

Responsibilities:  

• In-depth industry research, including growth drivers and key players
• Carrying out analysis of historical financial statements and management accounts  
• Preparing pitches for potential clients; Teasers, Information Memo and other presentation materials for sell-side and buy-side advisory engagements
• Performing market/deals valuation analysis based on multiples
• Developing sophisticated financial models and DCF valuation
• Supporting due diligence process of the Target company
• Participation in communication with clients’ top and middle management

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of professional experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, other related fields. BIG4 experience in corporate finance is a plus
• Strong academic record in finance and economics
• Knowledge of business valuation methodology and techniques
• Analytical mind-set and attention to detail
• Excellent written and spoken English, Ukrainian and Russian
• Strong team-work ethics and ability to handle stress
• Strong motivation for further professional development
