Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Ukraine is seeking a qualified professional for the project "Promotion of a Supportive Framework for Trade in Ukraine" in Kyiv to fill the position of the
Project Coordinator Trade and Export Promotion.
The project Promotion of a Supportive Framework for Trade in Ukraine aims at improving conditions for Ukrainian exporters to access foreign markets, especially EU markets. To reach this objective the projects supports the steering capacities for foreign trade promotion in Ukraine, support implementation of trade facilitation and trade information measures and supports institutions in the field of Quality Infrastructure (QI) in delivering services in line with EU requirements.
Area of responsibilities
- Coordinating project activities in the field of trade and export promotion
- Liaising with project partners to plan and implement project activities.
- Preparing project activities such as expert mission, workshops, conferences etc.
- Elaborating of technical documents for project activities.
- Contributing to the project's monitoring system and knowledge management
- By the instructions of the executives take over other activities and tasks.
Requirements to candidates
- Master's Degree in Economics or equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years of professional experience in trade or export promotion or in the private sector.
- Ability and experience to work in a political environment.
- Very good command of Ukrainian, Russian and English language (verbally and written)
- Knowledge of German would be an advantage.
- Good working knowledge of ITC technologies and computer applications (e.g. MS Office)
- Experienced to work in an international team
- Good self-organisation skills
- Customer and service-oriented attitude
- Willingness to upskill as required by the tasks to be performed
- Ability to work under pressure
Employment conditions
Full-time position with 40-hours working week until May 2020, prolongation possible.
