PLM System Developer

We are looking for a PLM System Developer to work in our Kyiv office.

Job responsibilities:

Joining our PLM DevOps & Support team, you will be part of a dedicated team with skilled colleagues in Ukraine. You will also be in a close collaboration with our offices in both Denmark and Poland. You will be responsible for ensuring that 3Shape has a stable and well-performing Product Lifecycle Management and CAD platform by supporting the organization with troubleshooting, efficiently designing, and implementing improvements.

In addition, your primary tasks will be:

• Getting acquainted with the internal standards, procedures, ISO standards and following quality check of the running business processes
• Working with engineering and production data
• Participating in implementation of the PLM system in the enterprise throughout various stages
• Taking part in developing new procedures for the users, and new business processes
• Providing day-to-day maintenance and support of both PLM and CAD system:

- Ensuring the PLM system is operational 24x7 unless down for a scheduled maintenance

- Ensuring that the scheduled maintenance is pre-approved and acknowledged by the impacted business teams

- Writing and testing internal software and macro's for PLM automation as per agreed test protocol, preparing test results, and reports

• Making exports to support project-managers to keep track of progress, and to support purchasing of prototypes
• Supporting relevant trainings – create and execute training material
• Handling various secretary and assistant tasks; minutes-of-meeting, status-reports, etc.

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, IT or other relevant technical education
• 2+ years of experience as an administrator and/or advanced user of PLM/CAD Software
• Intermediate English level as a minimum requirement (higher level will be appreciated)
• Previous experience in working with all kind of technical documentation (drawings, specifications, technical requirements, etc.) is beneficial
• Intermediate level of SolidWorks user skills as a minimum requirement
• As the successful PLM Administrator you will have experience in programming in some or all of the following VB.Net, JavaScript, C#, SQL, DevOps
• Experience with any ERP system is beneficial
• Previous work in western world company is beneficial
• International travel is expected (when COVID ceases)
• Good team player with good self-organization
