We have a challenging opening for the position of Finance & Operations Manager, based in Ukraine. As a Finance & Operations Manager, you will be a member of the Management Team and the head of Finance, Logistics and Information Technology department (FLIT 

As F&O Manager you are responsible for developing and driving the Finance operations in Novo Nordisk Ukraine and Moldova, managing the Supply chain, actively rolling out Commercial IT projects, running strong Procurement plans and supporting execution of strategies at Novo Nordisk, Ukraine and Moldova. You are expected to be one of the “House in order” keepers by maintaining perfect internal controls, demonstrating sound compliance mindset by being an expert in compliance framework internally and in the area of tax and other compliance regulations in Ukraine and Moldova.
Functional area:


•The role requires understanding and readiness in building strategic Financial Plans which will impact the business for the short, medium and long term. This entails meticulously budgeting and forecasting exercises, getting deeper insights from the market and devising active MIS systems to support the management team in making informed decisions. This role will play an active role in supporting the management on the pricing framework and working with the ext&intern stakeholders, implementing pricing plans.
•Smooth functioning of transactions, build strong control system&timely reconciliations to ensure audit&compliance readiness.
•Active liaising with strategic partners in our contract manufacturing facility & in the distribution network. It involves maintaining a good operating system which monitors production plans, inventories at various stock points and sales forecasts.
•Commercial IT calls for bringing innovative and effective IT solutions within growing digital health eco system.
•Procurement&Admin relates to strong benchmarking exercises, collaborating with our colleagues in GBS & ensuring that our office assets are well managed.
•Leader with a vision, who can work in a challenging yet rewarding environment and carries the values of the organisation with his team. Achieving financial KPIs, building effective team and ensuring sustainable business in Ukraine.
•Cooperation with local tax, pension fund, social security and other regulatory authorities and involves leading role during inspections and audits ensuring fair, compliant position.
•Supervision of the processes of product importation, local warehousing operations. Interaction with local Customs will be permanent part of this role attention in order to ensure timely product supply to customers. 

Your profile:

•A high degree in accounting or any relevant field is required with 6+ years of finance experience, preferably in the      pharmaceutical industry.
•We expect that you are a proven leader with a track record of successfully executing complex projects/initiatives with      demonstrated people management skills and can successfully direct a large team with diversified functions.
•You have demonstrated strategic thinking and decision making capabilities and strong analytical skills.
•You should also be a good communicator with a high energy level and able to collaborate effectively with external and internal key stakeholders.
•You are able to engage not only with your team but also with the whole affiliate to ambitious goals, innovative approach, proactive and solution focused.

•Travel time 10 - 20%,
•Fluency in English,
•Ukrainian language proficiency,
•Excellent knowledge of Ukrainian      regulations in tax accounting and tax compliance,
•Knowledge of licensing requirements in the      importation of medicinal products.

FLIT (Finance, Logistics and IT) Department of NN Ukraine and Moldova, BAEELM
Novo Nordisk Ukraine and Moldova belongs to International Operations Business Area East Europe Larger Markets, with more than 80 employees who are working to improve the lives of people with diabetes, haemophilia and growth disorders.
FLIT is the department responsible for the day to day activities of the affiliate, including, financial transactions, financial planning and reporting, management of the company’s cash flow and assets, all IT activities including administration of the company’s IT infrastructure, software and business IT applications, as well as local implementation of all global IT projects, and all local logistics details (supply management, forecasts with commercial teams). Also local pharmaceutical warehouse operations are in the scope of responsibilities.
