Compliance Department Associate

Key Requirements:

• Strong academic credentials (master of laws)
• 5+ years' experience in jurisprudence as an associate
• Knowledge and at least 3 years' experience in contractual and commercial legal spheres are obligatory
• Strong analytical thinking and excellent legal research skills
• Knowledge of regulatory legal environment (good understanding of tax regulation will be an advantage) and governmental structure
• High standard of business correspondence and drafting skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English, Ukrainian
• Computer proficiency (MS Office Standard)

Job Responsibilities:

• Draft, review and analyse agreements, addendums, NDAs, memos etc.
• Gather due diligence documentation and complete the risk assessments for assigned third party relationships in accordance with the internal third party due diligence policy
• Participation in negotiations with current partners and potential one
• Preparation of legal advice, opinions and providing legal support on different legal requests
• Verification and analysis of written position papers on their compliance with current legislation and internal requirements of the organization
• Assistance in preparation of reports for internal and external meetings regarding activity and positions of the organization upon request
• Analysis of current and draft legislation acts on possible risks related to the core business of the organization
