Senior Front End Angular/.Net Developer

The Role:

In an agile and collaborative environment, you will be working within a team responsible for the development of a leading-edge Information Security web-based SaaS platform using the latest development technologies. You will be delivering efficient code multiple times a week and will contribute to the design, analysis, and planning of features in an agile environment.

Key functions of the role:

• You will be responsible for co-designing and delivering a high-quality digital platform using the latest JavaScript/Angular and .Net frameworks
• Work within a team of multi-disciplined designers and developers
• Hands-on software development - delivering features and functionality, using all your skills and working closely with the team
• Play a vital part in UI and UX, testing, design and coding reviews
• Design and develop building solutions in JavaScript, specifically React/Angular and front-end frameworks and libraries (RxJs, CSS, Redux)
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and the technical feasibility the of UI/UX design
• Write efficient, clean, tested and documented code ready for reuse by others
• Contribute to the development of the back-end RESTful APIs
• Create configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Delivery environments.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience developing web applications using Angular or similar Front-end JavaScript based technologies driven by REST APIs implemented using .Net Framework code. Some international travel may be required. The candidate will be required to demonstrate the following skills and proficiencies:

Required Experience:

• Strong experience using front-end technologies including Angular 5+/React, Typescript, HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS & JavaScript (ES6) and relevant tooling
• Strong experience using technologies including .NET Framework / .NET Core, C#, ASP.Net, WCF, WebAPI
• Strong experience in database development using MS SQL Server (Stored Procedures, T-SQL, performance tuning)
• A guru for front-end development who can enforce standards, best practice and drive quality code
• Excellent communication skills and ability to confidently communicate with customers
• Strong experience working in an Agile development environment and understanding Agile Development Methodology
• Innovative and idea driven, able to research and suggest solutions to technical problems
• Write well-designed, maintainable and testable code

Desired Experience:

• Experience with Git, DevOps source control and Build servers
• Understanding of and experience in Test Driven Development including unit and automation testing
• Experience and understanding of the following technologies: NodeJS, NPM, SignalIR
• Experience with software development for public clouds such as AWS or Azure including deployments
• Experience with Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Redis database technologies
• Experience with Information Security, and IT management platforms an asset.
