Our client is a leading and innovative company which moves fast in the internet are. It is part of one of the largest Dutch internet companies and is known for is innovations and cutting edge Technologies. Via client consumers can find rooms for rent throughout the Netherlands and soon also abroad. As being part of one of the largest internet holdings of the Netherlands we know how to develop internet projects successful.

As Senior PHP developer your main focus is the development of new systems, the maintanence of existing systems, solving issues and providing techical advice. You work alone as well as in a team. The ideal candidate is creative in helping to make our products better. You have a passion for programming and know how to translate clients wishes in to possibilities. As a senior your are able to coach the other developers.

Tasks

• The development and maintance of high traffic websites
• Applicatie management
• Development and management of documentation
• Give support to the development team
• To provide business technical advice

We are looking for someone who has:

• Higher IT education
• Fulltime, 40 hours per week available.
• Good knowledge of English
• Minimal 3 years experience with PHP5 development
• Knowledge of and experience with MySQL, XHTML and CSS
• Experience with OO programming is a must
• Knowledge of Linux, Apache, ajax, Subversion, Agile, Scrum and Jquery
• Experience with high traffic sites and Zend Framework is a plus
• You are flexible, have ability to focus on end result and show initiative
