QA Manager

Zoral Labs, a leading provider of research and development to the software industry, announces an expansion of its development center in Kiev and Kharkov and invites talented specialists to fill positions of experienced Quality Assurance Manager.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience as a Quality Assurance Manager
• Deep knowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques
• Ability to QA complex systems from requirements stage to production
• Expert in OOP, OOA, OOD
• Understanding or utilizing of formal development methodologies SDLC (one of: RUP, MSF, Agile)
• Good programming skills in at least one of the following language: C/C++, Java
• Work experience and understanding with General principles of computer systems construction and General principles of distributed computer systems' construction
• Strong knowledge of Relational Databases (one of: MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Understanding of CPU (ix86) architecture
• Hands-on automated functional, non-functional, regression, scalability and acceptance testing of the system
• Experience defining, creating, executing and documenting Test Plans, Test Cases, defect/bug tracking techniques
• Strong critical thinking skills, decisiveness, and willingness to appropriately accept risk
• Excellent leadership and team building skills
• Good level of English knowledge

Special notes: 

• Windows Win-32 or Win-64 API
• POSIX 2.0 API

Major responsibilities will include :

Manage QA activitites across the company, perform quality control and quality assurance management; define and run testing process for the particular project; manage test artifacts (master test plan, detailed test plan, traceability matricies, product evaluation summaries, define test metrics, etc); manage QA engineers' activities (staff scheduling/assignment, etc); perform architecture & code reviews/audit; report to president of the company directly or to project stakeholders.
