Senior .NET Developer / Team Lead

Zoral Labs, a leading provider of research and development to the software industry, announces a major expansion of its development centres in Kiev and Kharkov and invites talented specialist to fill position of Senior .NET Developer / Team Lead.

In order to be successful in this position, candidate should have good knowledge of:

• Object Oriented Programming, Object Oriented Design, design patterns;

• Web technology stack: HTTP, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS basics, cookies;
• Networking basics;
• NET Framework 3.0 (3.5 SP1 ideally):

Required good knowledge of:

- NET Framework essentials (CLR, IL, class library, metadata);

- C#;

- ASP.NET;

- ADO.NET;

- Visual Studio .NET 2008;

- Databases: MS SQL Server 2000/2005, SQL/DML/DDL, database design and database optimization principles and best practices;

Desired, but unfamiliarity is tolerated:

- AJAX and AJAX support in ASP.NET;

- NHibernate, Entity Framework;

- Spring Framework;

- OLAP concepts and design principles, MS SQL Server Analysis Services;

- Full text search components for .NET Framework, solr + lucene;

• Agile development methods is a plus: unit testing, TDD, refactoring;
• Experience with version control systems, ideally subversion;

People Skills:

• Ability to interact with customers in English and assemble and motivate the team to deliver high quality software.
• Ability to make hire/fire decisions and carry them out in a timely manner.
