Java Architect

Zoral Labs, a leading provider of research and development to the software industry, announces a major expansion of its development centres in Kiev and Kharkov and invites talented specialists to apply for Java Architect positions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Research and identification of the most optimized and efficient solutions;
• Technical management of the architectural phase of large scale projects;
• Technical risks management and mitigation.

In order to be successful in this senior position you should have:

• Proven experience in design and implementation of multi-tier and distributed systems;
• Experience in creating enterprise architecture from the ground up;
• Understanding of reengineering, refactoring, and testing processes and approaches;
• Good knowledge of software development standards and other accompanying technologies for creating product architecture and design (UML, ERD, templates, patterns);
• Strong experience in OOA, OOP, Design Patterns (GoF, J2EE);
• JDK 5+;
• Strong understanding of JDBC, JMS, JTA, XML processing (DOM/SAX);
• Good knowledge and experience with Hibernate, JPA;
• Spring (IoC container, messaging, transactions, Hibernate integration);
• Excellent communication skills;
• Good knowledge of English language.
