DBA/Data Warehouse Architect

Zoral Labs, a leading provider of research and development to the software industry, is looking for DBA/Data Warehouse Architect.

Major responsibilities will include:

• Database/warehouse design, setup, configuration and tuning.
• Database design and data dictionary management
• Data Architecture
• ETL Architecture
• BI Architecture to include OLAP
• Metadata Management
• Reference Data Management
• VLDB Management strategies (database size to exceed 40TB)

In order to be successful on this position candidate should be an expert in:

• Oracle (PL/SQL)
• Strong knowledge of stored procedures, triggers, materialized views
• Distributed Database design and implementation / administration strategies
• Star-schema creation and optimization for large-scale OLAP applications
• Data partitioning and automated management strategies
• QA and Release management procedures in a production data centric environment
