Responsibilities and tasks

• The Chief Engineer is leading the Construction and Service organization in Ukraine and is acting as interface to the Sales organization. He/she reports to the Managing Director of Ukraine and is replacing him/her in his/her absence. Functionally, the Chief Engineer is reporting to Regional Director Construction.
• Responsible for the execution of all strategic and financial targets for the construction process within Ukraine
• Overall responsible for the development, execution and controlling of all projects, activities and processes in Construction within Ukraine
• Continuous development of the department structure and processes with regards to efficiency
• Overall control of technological discipline, construction norms and rules, health and safety
• Continuous evaluation and optimisation of progress of projects by means of KPI (key performance indicators) and PPI (process performance indicators)
• Ensure efficient use of production assets
• Secure relationships with educational, scientific, research and design organizations

Qualifications and work experience

• Several years of managerial experience in construction, ideally in wind industry
• Master degree in Industrial & Civil Engineering
• Fluent English and Ukrainian, Russian is an advantage
• Customer orientation
• Leadership skills and safety awareness
• Ability to negotiate with different parties and deal with conflict in a constructive way
• Willingness to travel
